Effect of Phosphites in Polyolefin Shrink film

Phosphites are important stabilisers to protect polyolefins during processing and end use of polyolefin shrink film.
Polyolefins are prone to degradation during compounding,converting to final products and end use.
The degradation proceeds in a free radical mechanism and will finally destory the polymer properties.

In a study, surprising effects of phosphites in polyolefin shrink film have been encountered.
