Purging EVA/Surlyn/Nucrel Extruder

When purging acidic materials such as EVA,lonomer os EAAs out of the system,
It is important that the temperatures be kept at their respective processing temperature first.
This is because these materials are easily degradable at higher temperatures.
A LDPE of a suitable MI(1-2MI is common for a blown film grade) should be used topurge first.
The"Alt-Disco" producedure should be followed.
Once the EVA/EAA/Ionomer has been purged out of the system,the temperature can then be set
to one that will be used for the next materials.
After the temperature is reached,the next materials can then be introduced,and another
"Alt-Disco"producedure be followed.
